Jonathan Nelson, Project Developer
Oregon-born, Jonathan started Conifer Energy Partners with the goal of bringing the benefits of solar energy to landowners and their communities. Prior to developing solar, Jonathan’s resume includes over a decade of experience in the energy industry including energy commodities research, utility resource consulting, and clean-tech.
Jonathan is a family man who enjoys mountain biking and exploring the San Juan Islands, and finds himself in the woods every fall chasing elk.
Spencer Wallace, Project Developer
Spencer has been a marketer and entrepreneur for close to a decade. Working in agencies and running his own production studio. He has now decided to take his marketing and business development skills into a new arena.
With a young family, he still makes time to go wake surfing and snowboarding, and when at home loves to try out new things in the kitchen.
About Us
Conifer has been developing solar projects in the PNW since 2017 and to date has participated in over 36 megawatts of solar installations. We have experience in land origination, grid interconnection analysis, solar land use permitting, and project investment financing.
Conifer has played a key role in enabling community solar in Oregon via its development activities and policy involvement.
